Business Health Services (BHS) provides Washington College employees and their household members an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). This benefit is provided by Washington College at no cost to employees.
As part of your comprehensive EAP program, Washington College employees and their household members will receive up to six (6) free and confidential counseling sessions per problem episode, per year, for personal and work-related concerns including, but not limited to: crisis, family and parenting issues, stress and anxiety, emotional well-being, marital and relationship concerns, substance abuse, grief and loss, communication issues, anger management, and coworker conflict.
Washington College's EAP also offers free, expert consultation regarding legal and financial matters such as, but not limited to: domestic/family, real estate, motor vehicle, criminal, business and estate planning, credit counseling, debt management, budgeting and tax planning. In addition, employees and their household members are eligible to receive a personal wellness coach who can offer preventative and complimentary care coaching and education services in areas such as, but not limited to: weight management, smoking cessation, fitness and exercise, pre and post natal care, asthma, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, back pain, chiropractic, yoga, acupuncture, massage, menopause, stress management and more.
